Meat & Veggie Kabobs

I have always loved kabobs but I don’t make them as often as I would like to. ย This past weekend, my sister had a great idea to make meat and summer veggie kabobs. We decided on steak, shrimp, squash, zucchini and mushroom kabobs ๐Ÿ™‚

We really wanted fresh shrimp but we arrived at the market too late and the seafood counter was closed ๐Ÿ™ So we had to do frozen shrimp, but it was still good!

Meat and Veggie Kabobs
1 bag of frozen shrimp, peeled and de-veined (31/40 count)

2 zucchini cut into round or cubed pieces

2 yellow squash cut into round or cubed pieces

1 โ€“ 1.5 lb of steak sirloin cut into small pieces

A handful of mushrooms

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Kabob sticks

Preparation:

  1. Make kabobs with all listed ingredients above.
  2. Drizzle kabobs with olive oil and sprinkle freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  3. Grill until cooked :)! We used the indoor George Foreman grill.
  4. Enjoy!!! You can pair with any sides. We did homemade tortilla chips and homemade guacamole. AMAZING :)!IMG_0716
